Our unique motion system merges the frame, print platform and gantry to work together to create perfectly rigid and parallel motion. The folded metal edges reinforce the parts themselves whilst also providing a curved surface for linear guides to latch onto.
The linear guides themselves are made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), an incredibly rigid material with an extremely low co-efficient of friction resulting in incredibly smooth motion.
Furthermore the kit also includes PTFE grease for the contact between the linear guides and the metal frame to really achieve the smoothest possible motion.
The brains of the AXIS 3D Printer is the all in one MKS GEN_L control board running the latest version of the open-source Marlin firmware.

Another recommended upgrade is the FlexPlate, a flexible spring steel sheet with our custom print surface that makes prints, both small and large, easy and hassle free to remove from the platform.
It fixes onto the platform with the help of 9 super strength high-temp resistant magnets.

The heated bed helps your print's first layer adhere better to the platform and is an absolute must if you intend on printing high temp materials like ABS.
Our heated bed is a high quality aluminium platform with an integrated copper heater trace. It reaches temperatures of up to 110 degrees Celsius and is controlled through a beefy external MOSFET.
The platform is powered by a dedicated independent 24V power supply.

The stock X/Y axis A4988 motor drivers on the control board are upgraded with the powerful and silent TMC2208 drivers.
With these upgrades the printing noise is reduced by up to 50%, this upgrade is a must if you expect to be running your printer in a quiet environment.

Double the fun and the capability of your AXIS 3D Printer with this easy to use dual extrusion upgrade.
Two materials are printed via a Y shaped Splitter. When a material is done printing the extruder pulls it back out of the hotend and through the Splitter. Then the other extruder pushes the second material in through the other side of the Splitter to be printed with.

Before printing, a model needs to be processed by a "slicing software", where a 3D model (.stl file) is converted into a .gcode file that the printer can read.
The Makertech Edition of CURA, is an open-source slicing software with settings tuned to work seamlessly with the AXIS 3D printer. It is available for both Windows and MAC.
Randomized testing of the metal parts allows us to make sure that the parts coming off of our assembly lines are with in specification.
All of the electronics under go rigorous testing also and are marked with a QC sticker after inspection before being packaged, ensuring that you receive the AXIS 3D Printer as we intended.
In the slim case you do receive a faulty part or one that was damaged in transit or one that was even missing we'll send out a replacement for you right away for up to an entire year after your purchase!
